Introduction

These terms and conditions apply when you use TouringGuide.app (the "Platform"), a service that connects travelers with local touring guides who create and sell guided touring packages. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree to these terms, please don't use the service.

Definitions

In these terms:

• Platform: the TouringGuide.app website and service.
• Guide: a user who creates and offers touring packages via the Platform.
• Traveler: a user who books a touring package via the Platform.
• Package: a guided touring experience offered by a guide, including route, dates and price.
• Booking: a traveler's confirmed reservation of a package.

Account and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your account details accurate and up to date, and for keeping your password confidential. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Each person may only create one account, unless otherwise agreed with us.

Guide responsibilities

As a guide, you're responsible for making sure the packages you publish are accurately described, that you hold any licenses, permits and insurance required to run the tour, and that the tour is conducted safely. New guide accounts are reviewed by us before they're approved to publish packages, but this isn't a guarantee of a guide's competence or that a given tour is risk-free — travelers always book at their own risk, as set out in the Limitation of liability section below. We may suspend or reject a guide account that breaches these terms at any time.

Traveler responsibilities

As a traveler, you're responsible for having the license, equipment and physical fitness required for the package you book, and for following the guide's instructions during the tour. You're responsible for providing accurate information when booking and for behaving appropriately toward guides and other travelers.

Bookings and payment

When you book a package, a booking request is sent to the guide, who confirms or declines it. The price shown at booking is the price you'll pay, unless stated otherwise. We may in the future charge a service fee in addition to the guide's price; any such fee will be clearly shown before you complete a booking. Payment is handled according to the payment method described at the time of booking.

Cancellations

If you as a traveler cancel a confirmed booking, the following default cancellation rules apply, unless the guide has set different terms for the package:

• Cancellation at least 14 days before departure: full refund.
• Cancellation at least 7 days before departure: 50% refund.
• Cancellation less than 7 days before departure: no refund.

If a guide cancels or declines a booking, the traveler is entitled to a full refund. Always check the specific terms of the package you're booking.

Disputes between users

If something goes wrong with a booking, you can report it through the Platform's dispute resolution feature. We'll review the case and may, at our discretion, decide on outcomes such as a refund or another appropriate action. We act as a mediator in such cases but don't guarantee a particular outcome.

Limitation of liability

TouringGuide is a platform that connects travelers and guides — we don't organize the tours ourselves and aren't a party to the agreement between traveler and guide. Touring by motorcycle, car or other vehicles carries inherent risk. You take part in booked tours at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, TouringGuide isn't liable for injury, loss or accidents arising in connection with a tour booked via the Platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under mandatory law, such as for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Community content

When you post content on the Platform, such as wishes, comments or ratings, you're responsible for making sure it's truthful, lawful and doesn't infringe on others' rights. We reserve the right to remove content that breaches these terms or that we consider inappropriate.

Intellectual property

The Platform's design, branding and functionality belong to TouringGuide.app. By posting content on the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive right to display and distribute that content in connection with operating the service.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, misuses the Platform, or puts other users at risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If you're a consumer resident in the EU, this choice of law doesn't affect the mandatory consumer protection rules that apply in your country of residence.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Platform after a change means you accept the new terms.
