• Account details: name, email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider).
• Profile information: bio, profile photo, motorcycles, and other details you choose to add.
• Booking data: dates, routes, package details and messages exchanged between travelers and guides.
• Payment information: processed by our payment provider — we never store your full card details ourselves.
• Community content: wishes, comments and ratings you choose to post publicly.

Why we process your data

We rely on different legal grounds depending on the purpose: performing the contract when you create an account or make a booking, your consent for optional cookies such as analytics, and our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure and functioning correctly.

Cookies we use

Necessary cookies are always active because the site can't function properly without them. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner.

Who we share data with

We share data with the service providers that help us run TouringGuide: our database and authentication provider (Supabase), Google Analytics (only if you've consented to analytics cookies), and a payment provider when you make or receive a booking payment. We don't sell your personal data.

Your rights

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, and afterwards only as long as needed to meet legal or accounting obligations.
